Today, we are celebrating the feast of our patron, St. Michael the Archangel. Michael is present constantly in our lives to assist us defend ourselves from the weaknesses in our human nature that may make us more susceptible to temptation and sin. St. Michael is a powerful advocate for us. The actual feast is on Thursday, September 29th.
I hope you will all come to our celebration at Hale Halawi today. As we have said each week in our bulletin, there will be fun for everyone, especially the keiki. Come with a big appetite so you can enjoy food from many cultures. By enjoying all the activities we offer, you will be helping us to build our new church!
This week, we say “A hui ho” to Father Mike Adams. On Wednesday, Father is returning to his home in California. For his three months of service to the people of St. Michael’s, we offer him thanks and best wishes for improved health.
Sunday Masses will continue here in the tent for as long as possible. All other Masses and meetings will be held at Immaculate Conception.
