Independence Day - July 4, 1776
On this day of fun, feasting, and fireworks, let us give thanks that we live in a country where we enjoy freedoms denied to so many others in the world. Please safely enjoy your celebration of the birth of our nation.
This month we begin the adult Inquiry ses sions for those thinking about becoming part of the Catholic community. These question-and-answer sessions will be informal. This would be a good opportunity to ask the questions about the Church that you may have wanted to ask but didn’t know whom to ask. If you then decide to become Catho lic, the next phase will be the RCIA process which begins in September.
Also this month, we will offer a Vacation Bible School from July 19-23. Registration contin ues for Kindergarten through Grade 6, with forms available in the parish office. We encourage inter ested teens of the parish to sign-up to assist the younger children with the various activities planned for the Baobab Blast Bible School program. This is a perfect opportunity for intergenerational exchange.
